Kinect Innovation Mod Makes Best Skyrim

Friday, December 30th, 2011

As we all know, there is so many mods available for Bethesda’s latest game and it’s often hard choosing a favorite. However, we believe we have found the best Skyrim mod with Xbox 360 Kinect innovation. This is a great way to show how the Xbox 360 can be used for Xbox 360 games, but it’s not without its issues, as some of the voice commands still need some work done.

The capabilities of the Xbox 360 Kinect have only come to light thanks to a recent SDK, and this Skyrim mod is good in so many ways. The first is that you can react differently while playing the game, notice how the guy demonstrating on the top right of the video stands back when being attacked – a human reaction.

However, the part we like about this mod the most is how it gets the player off the chair. We have seen for ourselves how some gamers will sit there all day playing Skyrim, only getting up for a wee and a drink. It will be interesting to see what the developer thinks about this mod?

It is likely that You are asking what kind of tasks you can perform with this Xbox 360 Kinect version of Skyrim, and the answer is almost everything. If you walk up to an NPC you just say hello to start a conversation. To get a weapon out you just say what weapon you need. You can also call up the map or your inventory list. However, the only downside is how the guy in the video holds his bow, it’s truly shocking.

Microsoft Xbox 360 Kinect Demo Weighs Astronauts in Microgravity

Friday, December 30th, 2011

Researchers at Eurécom in France and the Italian Institute of Technology’s Center for Human Space Robotics have demonstrated a system that utilizes Microsoft’s Xbox 360 Kinect accessories to weigh astronauts in microgravity environments. The sensor is used to make a 3D model of an astronaut’s body, enabling a computer program to extrapolate mass based on volume estimates.

“Something that you could easily put inside the walls of the space station would free up the space for other equipment or experiments,” Eurécom computer scientist Carmelo Velardo told New Scientist in an interview.

The researchers claim the Xbox 360 Kinect system is capable of making estimates with a margin of error of approximately 2.7 kg (~6 lbs.). The accuracy is said to be comparable to the existing alternative, which uses a stool connected to oscillating springs.

Velardo suggests the Kinect tool will be tested aboard a parabolic aircraft flight that replicates the conditions found in orbit. It remains unclear if the technology will be used aboard the International Space Station or other space-bound missions.

Tips to Help You Before Give Up Playing A New Game

Friday, December 30th, 2011

It’s really hard to get into a new groove once we’ve settled into a favorite pattern of doing something and that includes playing new games or trying a new game machine like the Kinect for Xbox 360. It’s important to remember however that simply because you’re not used to the way a new game plays or the way that a new system runs – it doesn’t mean that there’s something up with it. The following offers some guidance on how to get over the obstacle of giving new games a chance.

1. Accept the mess ups of your ways. Nothing is perfect and that of course includes video games, the system that it plays on, and dare we are saying – even you! While trying a new game, you are sure to trip all over the place and make even some of the most stupid mistakes that anybody could ever make. Try to remember that failings are inevitable and the even the master of all gurus (that is you) can blunder your way through a new game.

Mistakes don’t make you a dreadful player. On the other hand, they’re not making the game dumb or dumb. Actually it’s quite the reverse. If you find yourself making howlers during a new game, it’s time that to decelerate and give this game a second and more heavy look. If something in the game tripped you up – you, the master of all experts – then the game couldn’t be as nasty as you first thought.

2. Play a new game, like Xbox 360 games. When you’re “in the mood”. What a fast paced world we are living in! So fast, that we mistakenly expect to understand a game within the first 5 minutes of putting into the console! Then when we aren’t sure of what to do, the game becomes baffling or just dumb. Never try a new game when you’re not in the mood to or when you are in a hurry. New games need patience and a thorough read of its manual.

3. See the positive. There’s something good about every video game – even the more violent ones (though we’re not prepared to defend violent video games). While checking out a new game, think about what you like about the game in contrast to what you can’t quite work out what to do yet.

A positive attitude will carry on to other sides of the game and before you know it, you may be urged to carry on with it and make some real progress.

4. Do not be such a know it all. To paraphrase, if you playing a Xbox 360 games, don’t be blinded by your own conceit or talents in a selected brand of games or Xbox 360 accessories. that you close yourself off to new methods of achieving tasks. The most important room is the space to improve and your room is not an exception.

Understand that the game you’re playing could have something new to teach you about gaming as a whole. Then revel in it.

5. Continue to play. It’s highly dubious that anyone will like a new game in twenty four hours. Keep playing a new game until you are positively certain that you do not ever would like to see it in your console again.

6. Play on your own. It’s fairly likely that if you play a new game with a pal, you’ll be vulnerable to accepting your friend’s feelings about the game as your own.

Play a new game by yourself so you can translate your own feelings about the game and not any person else’s.

The Next Xbox Be More Cheaper, ‘Far Smaller Than 360′ And Run On Windows 9

Thursday, December 29th, 2011

It is reproted that Xbox 360’s successor is clearly in the works, although it’s debatable when exactly it’ll be unveiled. In the meantime, reports continue to surface on what Microsoft has planned for its next games console. One of the newest reports comes from a source known as “MS nerd,” who indicates that the next Xbox will be based on Windows 9 and an ARM architecture.

Moreover, the Xbox 720 be much smaller and, importantly, cheaper than the existing Xbox 360, enabling Microsoft to better drive adoption of its hardware and the Xbox 360 Kinect platform.

The MS nerd source is not just any blogger, as this person had accurate information on Microsoft’s Courier, (the abandoned tablet project) well in advance, so clearly there’s a connection here to Microsoft’s Entertainment & Devices group.

Regarding the next Xbox, MS nerd wrote, “With a heady mix of rumors, tips and speculation, I am now stating that Xbox codename ‘loop’(the erstwhile XboxTV) will indeed debut a modified Win9 core. It will use a Zune HD-like hardware platform—a  ‘main’ processor with multiple dedicated assistive cores for graphics, AI, physics, sound, networking, encryption and sensors. It will be custom designed by Microsoft and two partners based on the ARM architecture. It will be cheaper than the Xbox 360 console, further enabling Xbox 360 Kinect sensor adoption. And it will be far smaller than the 360. It will also demonstrate how Windows Phone could possible implement Win9’s dev platform on the lower end.”

For now, of course, take this information with several grains of salt, but it certainly sounds plausible.

Review for XBox 360 Kinect Sports: Season 2

Thursday, December 29th, 2011

It is proved that the first year for Microsoft s Xbox 360 Kinect is very popular, and Microsoft hope that things will be even better this year. It’s for this reason why they hope that Kinect Sports: Season 2 gets a positive review. One thing we do know, if it’s anything like the previous version then it will be one of the best games to play at a party.

So why would you want to choose Kinect Sports: Season Two instead of other Kinect games? That answer is a tough one, as it all comes down to personal taste. However, Game Rant will do their best to help you deiced if this sequel should be your next buy for the Xbox 360 – well after Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 that is.

Microsoft knows that they need to add something extra to the second outing for Kinect Sports, which is why they have now adding six new sports. However, some are better than others but the good ones more than make up for the others shortcomings.

For those of you who have never tried Xbox 360 Kinect games, then try not to associate them with the Nintendo Wii, as the graphics are far more advanced. The game should certainly be on your Christmas list, but it has not evolved as much as we would have hoped.

Joseph Dumary’s new design concepts about the next Xbox

Thursday, December 29th, 2011

With the upcoming new Xbox 360 console news spread, the media and the community began to report the rumors about the next-generation Xbox 360 hardware, from its new name will be “Xbox 720″ to Microsoft will sign an agreement with TV manufacturers, make the Xbox Kinect sensor integrated inside the screen, remove the sensor device, and then no controller gaming will be come true. Recently, another burst of foreign-related rumors, but it’s about the designer Joseph Dumary vision for next-generation Xbox.

Joseph Dumary is a designer of Yanko Design, he dreamed up this interpretation of the next Xbox console, which he calls the “Xbox Prestige.” It’s slightly curvier than the Xbox 360 Slim, suggesting it’s from the future. His “Xbox Prestige” envisages a case design similar to that of the current console, only this one includes a 2TB Xbox 360 hard drive, and 8-core processor, perhaps most importantly, packs Kinect right into the main package, the lens peering out at you from where the USB ports are on the older Xbox 360.

If real, the Xbox Prestige would have an eight-core processor, it would be 3D, bear 4KDK resolutions, would have GPS and multi-TV. By the way we can pretend it would also have the best graphics card around the world.
Finally, we still have to remind you, before your plan to rush out of the room, sell your current Xbox 360 kinect and pay for this item, please remember that this is just a concept, no matter what Microsoft eventually released, there may be great different from Xbox Prestige.
